DOCUMENTATION:
1. Original ocean bill of lading/air waybill
2. Valid passport
3. Inventory
4. Original certificate of residence in Belgium, Without this there is a warranty of 15% for customs duties, plus 19% VAT, plus BFRS 500 to cover possible fine - as of this publishing
5. Proof of cancellation of residence abroad
6. If non EEC citizen - certificate showing that shipper has not resided in the EEC for 12 month, prior to arrival
7. For company moves - a duly signed & stamped declaration of the employer, confirming transfer
8. For private removals - a certificate issued by Belgium consulate at place of origin confirming transfer  

RESTRICTED ITEMS:
1. Narcotics, Drugs
2. Any weapon (subject to special License)

DUTIES:
Used HHG/PE may be imported into Belgium duty free and partial importation are allowed.

VEHICLES:

Used vehicle is allowed duty free if it has been in the possession of the owner for 6 months prior to his/her arrival. You must note the details of the vehicle in the inventory list.
